Experimental Audio/Audio Art/Sound Art

This is an on-going catalogue of experimental audio and audio art that Liz has produced. Audio art means different things to different people and is loosely based around experimenting with music, sounds, noises and anything deemed as audible (and sometimes inaudible). Sound artists “often engage with the subjects of acoustics, psychoacoustics, electronics, noise music, audio media and technology (both analog and digital), found or environmental sound, explorations of the human body, sculpture, film or video and an ever-expanding set of subjects that are part of the current discourse of contemporary art.” Kahn 2001. Liz has researched and worked on projects based around, famous sound artists such as John Cage and Kurt Schwitters. This page is available as an RSS feed below.
